This is a short post today. I wanted to share my excitement with you. I'm packing to go to Minnesota. On Saturday I'll be helping my eldest granddaughter celebrate her high school graduation at a reception for the whole family (and we're not a small family when you start pulling in all the blended family folks). The following day we'll celebrate Mother's Day for three generations of mothers (even though there will only be two of us together that day--the third will have been there for the graduation reception). I may not have my camera with me for parts of that day but I can guarantee you that I will make sure the day is memorialized by having photos of each of us moms by ourselves, with our children, with our extended family, and with the whole darned bunch of us (let's hope I remember to follow my own techniques).
For those of you who have occasion to celebrate Mother's Day with your mom, as a mom, with someone else's mom, this is a great time to pull out the camera and get some fun photos.
Now, back to packing. I have to figure out how to get all this photo equipment on the plane and still have my laptop in my briefcase--it gets more and more challenging but I'm up to it.
Next week I'll still be in Minnesota but I'll try to squeeze in time to get something in. I'll fill you in on the festivities after I get home and have a little time to recuperate.
